Vallarta ArtWalk is a self-guided tour through the city’s Historic Center, where visitors can explore local galleries, meet the artists, and experience the vibrant cultural heartbeat of Vallarta every Wednesday evening during the season.
The event runs every Wednesday evening from late October through May, from 6:00 to 10:00 PM. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome to join at their own pace.

Home of the Vallarta ArtWalk
The Centro Histórico District is the original site of Puerto Vallarta which was settled on December 12, 1851. The church and crown of Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe which is the famous icon of Puerto Vallarta, the City Hall and Plaza and the Malecón (boardwalk) can be found in El Centro Histórico. Visitors will find a variety of art galleries, traditional and gourmet restaurants, unusual jewelry and unique stores in this area.
The Centro Histórico District, with its cobblestone streets has been the home of the Vallarta ArtWalk since 1996. This season 2025-26 marks our 29th year of this successful event. The mission of this uniquely positioned event is to provide a pleasant atmosphere for art collectors, residents and interested visitors to discover the great variety and exceptional quality of art available in Puerto Vallarta.
